Here are the excerpts of his reason for the visit:
“We came here to appreciate what God is using you and Radar newspapers to do in our generation, especially in the area of information and communications. We realised that of all the Newspapers in Akwa Ibom state, Radar Newspaper publishes her information objectively and has a good outlook in terms of printing and quality.
“It has been able to unite the government and the people; the common man, and projects the people of Akwa Ibom state in a good light to the outside world through her online version. It has actually connected the people of Akwa Ibom state to the people that matters in the society, not only in the state, but outside the state through the online version of the newspaper.
“That is why we came to thank you for what you are doing and appreciate you for partnering with the Global Community Revival Outreach in her efforts to fulfill God’s mandate for the government and people of Akwa Ibom state.
“That is why we are here and we say a big thank you for what you are doing. Of course, as a youth, you are showing a good example to other youths in the land, that youths can make it in life like without indulging in crime.
“What you are doing is in line with what His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel is saying. His Excellency is calling on all of us to arise to greatness. Of course, by employing other youths into Radar newspapers as staff of your company, you are reducing the unemployment problem of the state. So, we are really grateful to God and to you, the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of this company.
“Congratulations for all your successes as a newspaper and as a publisher,” the International Coordinator of Global Community Outreach, Uyo, Rev Joshua Cleopas said.
