Consumers and other users of garri, fufu flour, cassava flour and other products produced with cassava will soon have cause to smile as EM-SSET a new cassava processing and allied products manufacturing plant launch packaged garri, cassava flour, animal feeds and other products to the food market.
The manufacturing company EM-SSET is located at Nsit Atai Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. While displaying the products of the company, the General Manager of the firm, Mr. Monday Esset said EM-SSET is poised to improve the lives of Akwa Ibom people through the production and selling of packaged garri, fufu powder and cassava flour which could be used to make Cassava bread, chin-chin and other products.
Esset added that his building of the first Cassava processing plant in the state is inspired by the Dakkada message of the state government and that the company has a vision to crash the prices of cassava products especially garri and fufu in the state, while also giving back to the society through employment of Akwa Ibom people.
Speaking on the quality of the products, Mr. Esset said that the products are produced with strict adherence to the maximum hygienic standard, adding that there are no preservatives in the products, and that the quality of the packaged garri is very high, nutritious and good for sipping, while the fufu flour when prepared gives an odourless food.
He implored potential customers to patiently wait for the official launching of the company and its products, or simply call the phone numbers on the branded garri bags.
“we do not even encourage our customers to come to the factory, with just a phone call we can deliver the products at their door steps, they are just a phone call away from our products,” he said.
He explained that a 10kg bag of garri goes for N3500, while 25kg goes for N8000, noting that the company packed garri and other packed food flours are of the best quality standards.
