CHRAN Parleys Ibom Community Watch

The Center for Human Rights & Accountability Network (CHRAN) paid an advocacy visit to the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Internal Security and Waterways and the Ibom Community Watch established by the administration of Pastor Umo Eno to provide intelligence in the combat of internal security.

The event took place today, Friday, 5 January 2024, at the Ministry’s office in Uyo. The CHRAN’s team was received by the Commander of the Ibom Community Watch, Isantim Kenneth Okon, who represented the Commissioner for Internal Security and Waterways, Gen. Koko Essien (rtd.).

The Director of CHRAN, Otuekong Franklyn Isong led the team which included: Barr. Christopher Ekpo, Secretary; Comrade Usen Johnson, deputy secretary; Comrade Utibe Archibong, Comrade Blessing Essien, Comrade Lovina Anthony and Comrade Wisdom Udoh.
